The Department of Veterans Affairs receives funds and administrative support from the Federal Government.  The DVA serves American Citizens who are past or current employees of the US Armed Forces.  DVA positions are coveted.  They have a high employee retention rate.

The applicant does not have to be in or have a history of service in the U.S. Armed forces, but those with a service record get first consideration over other applicants.  Position openings can be found by contacting the local DVA or visiting the official website.  Applicants can submit applications at the local DVA human resources department or online.

The Process
